Please read page 95, Tag Questions for 4-21-15.

1. Learn the 10 new vocabulary words on pp. 71-72.
2. For Tuesday, 3-31-15, prepare a 6-7 minute talk on one of the following topics. Write your notes and practice them at least five times before Tuesday. I will collect your notes. You need a thesis statement, 3-4 main points supported by examples and details, and a conclusion.

getting married
passing your driving test
starting an academic college program

For Thursday, 3-19-15, Do the exercises on pp. 60-61. Next class we will do the speaking activity on p.62.

Homework for Thursday, 3-5-15: Read pp. 54-56 and do the exercises. 

 Friday, 2-20-15 is the last day to hand in late and missing work.

Read pp. 46-47 and do the exercises. Study the new vocabulary. Quiz is on Tuesday, 3-3-15.

Do the activities on pp.40-41.
Hand in parts B and C, and prepare for structured discussion on 2-24-15.
Study the vocabulary on page 30. Quiz: Tuesday, 2-24-15

Study the vocabulary on page 25. The quiz will  be  next Tuesday, 2-17-15..

Homework due Thursday, 2-5-15:
1.You will make a 1-2 minute speech in class.
You are the speaker.
Tell the audience about a first impression. Assignment is on pp. 18-20.

2. Vocabulary quiz- study the words. Know part of speech, definition, and how to use the word in a sentence. Page 9.
